| The announcement text: |
1.Maintains the specification documents as required by all areas of the business.
2.Plans & prioritises testing of components & systems according to customer and internal requirements.
3.Maintains test equipment as required to ensure facility is in good working order including general test area housekeeping.
4.Performs component and system tests as required.
5.Provides customer support for testing as required.
6.Assists in the DFMEA process.
7.Writes test reports according to company and external guidelines for each test performed.
8.Highlights any maintenance or calibration issues to the Product Engineering Manager in a timely fashion.
9.Assists in purchase of new equipment and facilities as required.
10.Assists in the writing of test processes & procedures.
11.Designs and manages the production of dedicated test fixtures and set-ups.
12.Ensures that the test facility and operating standards comply with all current safety regulations.
13.Maintains the test area COSH store as required to current standards.
14.Arranges safe storage and working facilities for test vehicles as required.
Education; Minimum HND, ideally Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience; Minimum of 2 years related experience in a similar field (Automotive Mechanical testing & calibration)
